Ministry – George: 1. Short-term programs have been a significant recruiting vehicle for Wycliffe. George is responsible for managing the program, which involves networking, personnel placement, trip planning, and leading a 7-weeks short-term mission trip every year.
2. YAJASI is not only providing flight services for Wycliffe’s Bible translators but also other mission organizations, local churches, indigenous people, and government. George is the chairman of the Executive Board and is responsible for the operation. Occasionally he is on call to share in churches, fundraising events, and meeting with government officials, or liaise with partner organizations.
Ministry – Doris: In addition to managing the family affairs and part time teaching, Doris spends 30% of her time working with Wycliffe Switzerland as “Prayer Coordinator.” The goal is to promote prayer for bibleless people groups.
