Behold Your God - Core Class

Meditating on and delighting in the majesty of God stimulates a believer’s capacities for trust and worship. Sadly, this is largely lacking in Christians today, writes J. I. Packer: “Modern people, though they cherish great thoughts of themselves, have as a rule small thoughts of God.” And this “is one reason our faith is so feeble and our worship so flabby” (Knowing God, p. 83). Are we honest enough to admit this may be true of us? How can this be remedied? This fall we will behold God in the Scriptures and seek to be caught up in the weight of his majesty.

Proverbs - Elective

We all need wisdom. By wisdom the world was made and through wisdom God runs and sustains the world. We need wisdom to live, to work, to love, to parent. We need wisdom to guide us in making good decisions and to show us the path we should walk. This fall, we will spend time soaking in the Proverbs that we might learn to fear the Lord and get wisdom. "Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold" (Prov. 3:13-14). There is much to learn from this book of wisdom literature. Come and see and get the reward.
