Wednesday 2/4 | 6:30pm | Community Group Kickoff
Gospel Community Groups begin. If you are planning to be in a Community Group, it’s important for you to come on this evening! We’ll begin with everyone together in the upper commons (E building) for a brief introduction and prayer. Then we will break into our groups and talk through the day/time to meet and other details. As we do this, we expect some of you will ask to be in a different group because of meeting time or other reasons. That’s okay! Please don’t worry about how all this will work. Come and find out!
Starting Wednesdays in February | Community Groups Midweek Fellowship
Starting in February, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, we encourage Gospel Community Groups to meet. Community Groups are not mandatory. However, we ask that you prayerfully consider being a part of one because these groups are an important way we plan to do life together and carry out our mission as a church. We suggest meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays because that helps continue a rhythm of gathering with others in the body midweek. But groups can meet on whatever day is best for those in the group.
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, we will have church-wide Midweek gatherings. During these times, adults and older youth (9-12th grade) will sing, have a purposeful devotional word or short teaching, seek the Lord in prayer, and share testimonies of ways God is working. We want to cultivate a casual but intentional time with the church body. Choirs for children and younger youth will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays but not on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. Parents reserve the option to have their children or younger youth join them, if preferred.
